Plumeria

My plumeria plant has FINALLY bloomed.  I'm excited that it's yellow, and I haven't gotten sick of the smell (yet).

It's beautiful! A friend gave me one this summer and I've never had one before. Does it smell strong? Does it stink? You've got me wondering! I'm not even sure what color mine will be and now I'm wondering how it will smell too!

Cat - it just smells like perfume. Some people say that it's just sickly sweet smelling. I also only smell it when I go to specifically smell the flowers - some claim they can smell it a ways away and that's why they get sick of the smell.

They get sickly smelling when there are a lot of flowers and then the flowers are starting to wilt. Magnolia blossoms and gardenias are the same way. And china berries when they are dropping.
