This is a wonderful garden b/log. Very straightforward record of your experiences. I too am a transplant to Austin and it is a long slow learning process. It's not as if I haven't maintained a garden before, it's the blasted summer heat that does me and the garden in every year. How do people do it around here?
Roberta, quite honestly this is the best I've been doing about the actually logging of information. Usually it's more like I plant a bunch of stuff at the beginning of the season and then forget to post anything about the plant until the end of the season where it's more like "i like it" or "i killed it."
Oh, gosh. I just checked back again and your response made me laugh out loud. Thank you. My dogs think I"m crazy, I'm sure. The "I like it"/"I killed it" journal is downright marketable.
