So I finally went outside to check the amount of rain we've gotten since 530 am on Wednesday. According to my highly inaccurate rain gauge we've gotten 3.4". I question it. I probably had some water in there from the last time I actually watered the plants...though it wouldn't have been much (maybe about .25").
I also heard the hill country got about 7"...but unfortunately, Lake Travis is only up about a foot or so.

We only got about an 1.5" over the last several days. Not bad, but not even enough to make puddles in the yard. Wish I had planted my groundcover already! I am going to stop by the store on the way back from Austin today and see if they have any flats of groundcover. Buying individually is just too pricey!!
We got a little over 3" here at Lake Georgetown. I had just removed the 7000 gallon cistern too. We haven't gotten the new ones yet either. Lost water,ugh.
