Ummm...what type?

I saw this bird last Saturday at the suet feeder.  I have no idea what type it is - it has a little yellow spot under the wings and a yellow rump.  plus the white eyebrow...

Yellow-Rumped Warbler maybe?  Looks like an eastern immature... if Allaboutbirds.org is to be believed.

I searched and searched the WWW... I don't see anything better than your initial findings of a Yellow-rumped Warbler. The differences between colorations of males, females, and juveniles, plus the winter plumages, makes identification a challenge for us amateurs. It's sure fun when you identify a new one though.

It looks like a yellow-rumped warbler. I looked up white eyed vireo but they have more yellow all over.

Definitely a Yellow-rump. - all other yellow-rumped warblers also have yellow throats (lacking in this one). Nice shot!

Yep, a Yellow-Rumped Warbler. I've been loving all your bird reports, Katina!
