What do you grow in Austin, TX when everything you try dies?
I love poppies and I am very disappointed with myself that I don't have a single one growing in my yard.

I have two (2!) of these gorgeous red poppies in my backyard. A neighbor on the corner has gobs of them in her front yard and I suspect the birds planted the two in my yard. Jack carefully mowed around them today. I love that man.
