I have a few of these coming up in my beds this year. Seems even when I seed the beds, they still come up in the paths. Larkspur have a mind of their own.
That's a beautiful color of larkspur, Katina - wouldn't want to have a garden without some! In Illinois the advice used to be to sprinkle the seeds on top of a late snowfall so the melt would settle them in place. But here in Austin? I agree with Ally- they have their own ideas about where to grow.
Love me some larkspur! This variety is especially lovely. And your chancing by my artichoke & garden while riding by made me laugh. I was out of town, but it would have been great to hear your shout out. Feel free to stop by if you ever turn down the wrong street again.
Such beauties. You will have them for years to come.
