She called animal control to come get the last family after my father-in-law passed away. He had been feeding them and she ended up with about 5 feral cats that were terrified of humans but had become dependent on handouts (plus my mother-in-law does not like animals). I have to restrain myself to not feed them when I'm here. I do always put out a plastic water container weighted with a rock near where the water runs off the shed (so hopefully it will fill up again when it rains). We once had a feral cat and ...Pretty little kitten. We once had a feral cat and we had to take it to be 'fixed'. It was such a thin scrawny thing. Trying to catch it was no easy job but we did manage and saved her from further pregnancies.
